28 MARCH (HOTD) - O People Of The Qur'an! Offer Witr Salat

Hadith of the Day

'Ali Radiyallahu 'anhu narrates that Rasullullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: O People of the Qur'an! Offer Witr Salat, for verily Allah is Witr, and He loves the Witr. (Abu Dawud: 1416)   Note: Witr in Arabic refers to His Oneness, that is being without partners. Allah also loves actions done in odd numbers. Many examples of it are found in Shari'ah and Sunnah.
