The Message of Qur’an (Part - 98)

Wealth and children should not divert you from the straight path: Surah Taubah Ayat No: 55 It is said: The wealth and the children are a trial for mankind. Allah has described the injunction about the wealth and the children that if you spend Halal wealth for righteous deeds, it will multiply virtues and lead to the success in the Hereafter, otherwise the same wealth will be retribution in this world and punishment of the Hereafter. Similarly, if you considered to provide the teachings of Deen to the children, they will be coolness of the parents' eyes and means for salvation in the Hereafter. But if he made them unaware of teachings of Islam and kept them involved in luxuries of the life, they will cause suffering in this world and bring punishment in the Hereafter.
