Not following the teachings of the Qur'an will result in the decrease in provision and punishment in the hereafter: Surah Taha Ayat No: 124 To 126 Allah Almighty says: As for the one who turns away from My message, he shall have a straitened life, and We shall raise him blind on the Day of Judgment." He will say, "In the similar manner as Our signs came to you, and you had ignored them. In the same way you will be ignored today."
